HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN RACING: Auto racing looked like a lot of fun to me, so I got a rule book from the souvenir stand and realized this hobby was within my reach.

MOST MEMORABLE RACING EXPERIENCE: I was going around turn 2 when the lug nuts pulled through the rim and the wheel came off. That caused the car to do a barrel roll.

MOST EMBARRASSING RACING EXPERIENCE: I was leading the race in a Saab 900 in 2005, when a red flag stopped the race. On the re-start, I dumped 4000 RPM into 1st gear and wrecked the transmission.

RACING AWARDS AND HONORS: My first win was in a Mazda in 2004. I have a few 2nd and 3rd place trophies.

HOBBIES: I like motor sports and usually have a repair or upgrade project going on either my boat, go-cart, racing car, Jeep, or motorcycle. I do all my own fabrications and repairs from welding to engine and machine work.

I would really like to win the Champion's Jacket in my division here at Rockford Speedway, The points race gives the competition a season long significance. These are some fun times with few resources, and I want to make the most of it. Someday I would like to build and drive a truck that could compete in the Baja 1000. That would combine my spirit of competition and driving with my knack for fixing things and my love of wild country all in one.
