HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN RACING: I have been going to the Rockford Speedway since I was a kid. I have not missed a Saturday Night since 1981. That is the first year my dad raced full time. I never played baseball or any summer sports because I just wanted to be at the track. I drove my first race in 1992 at 16 (before I had my license) in a Roadrunner. I drove 3 nights in 1993 in an American Short Tracker before starting full time in 1995. I have been at it every week ever since.

MOST MEMORABLE RACING EXPERIENCE: In 2005 I won my first Late Model Feature. It was special for many reasons. One reason was that my dad raced late models from 1983 through 1992 and never was able to finish better than 4th. It was great to be able to give that win to him. The other reason is that my daughter was having her 8th birthday party at the track that night. She was riding in the pace car for the Late Model feature and sat in the infield with Darrell Williams for the race. It was a picture perfect night. The race went down to the wire and I held off Ricky Bilderback and Bobby Wilberg for the win.

MOST EMBARRASSING RACING EXPERIENCE: I was asked to sing the National Anthem at National Short Track Championship weekend. I know the song inside and out and have heard it thousands of times. Well don't you know, I got half way through the song and forgot the words.

RACING AWARDS AND HONORS: 1995 AST Rookie of the Year, 1999, 2001, 2004 AST Track Champion (First 3 Time Division Champ), 1999 AST Bud Big Six Series Champion, 1999 NASCAR mid-America regional champion (Ranked 8th in the Nation), 2000 LM Rookie of the year, Most Likely to Succeed in 2008 award in LM, 2006 Quality Team Award Winner

HOBBIES: When I am not at the track, I enjoy Bowling, Hunting, EBay

I see myself at Rockford Speedway carrying on the tradition that was passed along to me. This all was started in the 1950's with my grandpa owning cars that raced at Sycamore Speedway. Dad got the bug there and has obviously passed that along to me. I would love to be able to pass this tradition along to my daughters and 20 years from now be telling my friends that she is better than her daddy was. I have realized one thing over the past 26 years that I have been going to the track. Rockford Speedway is not just a place to go. The track is a part of me! I will be involved with Racing at Rockford in one way or another for as long as the Speedway is there!
