HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN RACING: The McGinnis Family has a rich history in Stock Car racing, dating back to the early Seventies. This includes Dirt racing at Santa FE Speedway, up to and including being part of Bobby Allisons Nascar Championship in the Eighties. I owe my own personal connection to my dad Bill McGinnis, my Uncle Tim McGinnis and Tom Gille.
MOST MEMORABLE RACING EXPERIENCE: A Saturday night victory at Rockford Speedway in the Allison Legacy cars. I love winning in front of fans.
MOST EMBARRASSING RACING EXPERIENCE: In my very first heat race in my new Allison Legacy car, I almost took out my teammate on the white flag lap. I hit the wall, he won the race.

I hope to finish 2008 in the top 5 in points at Rockford Speedway late Models. I hope to win at least 5 heat races and 1 feature. By 2009 I hope to compete for the Rockford late Model title, and the Big 8 series title as well.
